FAQ

  • As a general rule we will use Royal Mail as the default shipper, and all costs shown on the shipping box on the checkout page are based on their second class service.

    Where an item is generally flat - such as printed materials, cards etc. the rate we have included is the Large Letter rate

    For larger items we have used a variable rate based upon a combination of the calculated shipping weight, and the overall dimensions of the package (this includes and allowance for packing materials etc)

  • Everyone can change their mind, life sometimes causes problems we can’t anticipate. In view of this should something occur which requires you to return an item we are happy to accept returns for a refund (or credit to the same value) - provided that the item is returned in a saleable condition and is otherwise unmarked / damaged etc.

    Should you need to return an item, please e-mail beforehand and we will provide you with a shipping label.

  • Our policy on damaged items - first off we hope that this is never needed but the general rule we adopt is that if an item gets damaged in transit on its way to you, we will gladly provide either a replacement, or if this is not possible (as is the case with 1 offs or unique items) we’ll happily offer either a similar product, or we’ll refund the purchase cost.

    One thing we should highlight is that all the products on our site are handmade, not produced by machine, therefore they may naturally have characteristics of the materials and methods used in their creation..

    Should any item arrive with you in less than perfect condition please notify us immediately by e-mail using paul@bishopmade.com or judith@bishopmade.com. Please attach photographs of the item and the packaging as it arrived in order that we can get to the bottom of the issue.

    Where an item has been damaged after delivery, or on return to us as a result of poor packaging we reserve the right to not refund the purchase cost of the item.

  • We are more than happy to provide a ‘custom made’ or bespoke service on any of the products we sell / make.

    Just send us an e-mail, provide us with an insight of what you’re looking for, and we’ll get back to you with some ideas of what can and can’t be done.
